Better Textures using Images

I found this youtube tutorial that delved deeper into texturing.  His tips on blending modes of the mix shader, to using the factor in the mix shader, was very helpful and clear.   This is not a beginner level tutorial.  I think beginners should watch this one though.  He has a good work flow for getting realistic Results from his models.   He even talks about some of the mapping choices, which are always good to know to make the images fit onto the meshes better.

What videos to watch when learning BLender.

I stumbled across "film stops" Video about all the great videos to watch categorized by each part of blender, that will let you learn all the most important Diciplines to to do actual do 80% of all your work.  Watch the videos 2 times at least.  Once to watch the video and get an idea of what the Creator is actually telling you.  Then Open blender, and rewatch the video while following along. :) Hopefully you will have the same result as what the video is helping you learn.

FYI any clouds will make your renders super slow.  Adding vfx pre rendered will help with this, but you have to be careful for simple camera moves if you do that.
