I did this spaceship in about an 1hour with random flow add on and free textures from blendkit.

That's getting the plugin and sitting for an hour with some tutorials.  Very Interesting style.

I followed the battleship tutorial, and was amazed at the ship he designed.

I also followed the Random FLow Building Tutorial and made a few types of buildings.  (2 so far).  

This was created using Blender 3.0 and Composited using Davince Resolve. Objects were found on blendswap and gumroad. I modeled a building also. The city was a scene from blendswap .The engine parts was also blenderswa, but I animated them using the noisey modifer in the graph editor. Chappie was keyframed animated. Also found on the internet, just google chappie blender.  It was interesting to make the movements robotic. I used graph editor modifier noise for the swaying of the car and engines and some of the fingers of Chappie for secondary animations.

I found a website called Mecca and it has a huge repository of Legos right in the web browser.  If you had your lego Manuals you could build a virtual version.

Best of all, after you create a lego scene in their web browser, you can export to blender.  A lot of models have scans of the textures too.  Like the space lego symbols and the landing pad.  Just awesome.   

I composed some of the ones I actually had as a kid into this Scene.  Nostalgia.

Created mostly from free objects from  blendswap.com and Davinci Resolve.

Character from Blendswap (Used robot head, robot hands, and suit) and with Mocap from Mixamo.

Modeled the small building in the mid ground with modifiers.
