How to make Space Ship Interiors

Inspiration

Beginner

Chong made a superb Tutorial in which he makes and animates a Sci Fi Corridor.  He models all the parts needed, (He uses a Boolean approach.)  An important tip is how he keeps the models to 1 meter, and sets the origin points to the lower right of the models so he can tile them later in geometry nodes. I especially like how he uses the mesh to curves command to make a guide for his Lights and "cage" object, and then curves to mesh to convert them into geometry. He Shows exactly how to set up geometry nodes to arrange the "modules"  And even automates the doors opening and closing completely in geometry nodes and an empty.  He uses simple surfaces so this whole tutorial can be done on a lower end computer.   I'm putting this tutorial at the beginner level because he explains exactly what he is doing at every step.  But the geometry nodes are advanced, yet he explains almost each node and why in an easy to understand manner Especially how he randomized the modules, and constrained the doors to every 4 modules using a math node set to ping pong.  (And now you know how to use that.) I would say you can watch the other tutorials on how to make corridors, make them 1 meter, and use what you learned about geometry nodes to make all the sets you need for a ship interiors.  Just remember that you need more powerful hardware to do that.  (Texture maps, Procedural textures, Fog eat up vram quick.)

He uses cloth dynamics to add these Pillow type walls.  Awesome idea.

Intermediate

Daniel has great ideas about making an interior hallway.  He uses a modular design.  He also has some modular things for sale too.  Good stuff.

Advanced

The cables make the scene.  Very nice.
